Originating from Crystal (before the banded design revival), Storm Patterns have always maintained a strong central element connected by diagonal stepped lines to each corner, representing the four sacred mountains surrounding the Navajo Nation.
This beautiful piece incorporates the Valero Stars and Waterbug designs. Valero Star is an 8 pointed star that was developed into weavings in the mid to late 1800’s.
