Zuni Green Turquoise Channel Inlay Bracelet by Larry Loretto
Zuni Silversmith, Larry Loretto, is well- recognized for his inlay and channel inlay designs, in particular bracelets and cuffs. His pieces are distinctive in their regular style of a bane of stones, running central across the bracelet, framed by silver. Larry learned by both watching and also some guidance from his brother-in-law, Johnny Coonsis and has been a master of his craft for the past 15 years. Sill a young artist at 40, Loretto is currently teaching his son the art of silverwork. Native American Jewelry fans are au fait with Loretto’s bold, contemporary pieces and he is sought after for his minimalist expressions.
