Jennie Laate is an accomplished Zuni potter who is also honored for passing on the Zuni craft through her teaching at Zuni High School. This Eagle Design Pot is geometric in form and pattern with meticulous use of clean, straight lines. This has a bold visual effect creating an exciting and pleasing piece. The blocked paint at the base of the pot is concentrated just enough to bring the whole Pot together as a cohesive concept. The Pot is broadest near the top and narrows toward the base: a fascinating, unique shape.
