A head- turning Red Coral Navajo Pendant. The Pendant consists of Cross shaped Sterling Silver with seven central Red Coral pieces affixed. The three- dimensional effect of this adds a striking texture and shape to the Pendant. Further texture is created by ten silver balls which surround the central piece and a curved etched- Silver outline throughout.
Although Red Coral has been available since the Stone Ages, Navajo Craftsmen only began using the stone circa 600 years ago. Since then, it has become a popular Southwestern symbol for success and social prominence.
