The Hopi people pray with eagle feathers because the eagle's close proximity to the Sun Father. Eagles are seen to carry the Sun Farther prayers for peace, harmony and abundance for all people. The inside of the bracelet is marked by Josytewa signature crossed arrow Hallmark, in the traditional Hopi style. Pieces of Hopi jewelry are rarely signed by the artist but instead are stamped with the artist Hallmark often representing a clan, personal, or an animal symbol.
